City Art Bus

This collaborative project between Tom Tom, Charlottesville Area Transit, and JAUNT reimagines everyday transit as a canvas for public art. The annual project is viewed by 200,000+ riders and residents in the City of Charlottesville and County of Albemarle.

Murals

Over the years, Tom Tom has partnered with The Charlottesville Mural Project and The Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative to support the creation of murals at sites throughout Charlottesville. This effort creates opportunities for local and national artists to expand their canvas while inspiring residents to reimagine their city and see their neighborhoods as opportunities for creative expression.

Creative Residencies

Since 2012, Tom Tom has been host to an array of exceptional local, national, and even international Artists-in-Residence. These creatives — artists, writers, performers, immersive space creators, graphic and fashion designers, muralists, and beyond  — share their talents and insight with the Charlottesville community and enhance the creative connections made at Tom Tom.

Our city as canvas.
