What else straddles the personal, cultural, and geopolitical? When considering topics from climate change to racial inequality, food intersects all of them. What we grow, raise, and consume stands at the center of nearly every crisis on the world stage. It affects our homes, communities, daily rituals, and stretches across borders. At this keynote, incredible visionaries and change-makers will explore how to tackle and achieve systematic advances in the food we all eat, and offer the next set of goalposts for a sustainable, fair, and healthy future.
Did we mention that lunch is included? Beyond Meat is providing the audience their plant-based burgers! With zero cholesterol, half the fat as beef, yet retains the texture and look of meat, this revolutionary food product is a taste of the future – bite into it with Tom Tom.
